| Beach Terrace Inn

The Beach Terrace Inn located on the beach in Carlsbad, features 49 distinctive one bedroom suites and guest rooms offering magnificent ocean front and ocean view rooms. Each of our one-bedroom suites has a kitchenette, fireplace, and private balcony. Of all the Hotels in Carlsbad, Beach Terrace Inn is the only Carlsbad Hotel that sits on the Beach.
Guest Rooms
Beach Terrace Inn has 49 rooms. There are 28 One Bedroom Suites with a separate living room, bedroom, kitchenette, private balcony, and gas fireplace. There are six studio suites with microwave, refrigerator, and gas fireplace. There are 14 extra large guest rooms with either two queen size beds or king bed. All of these large guest rooms have a queen size sofa sleeper and private balcony. We have one specialty suite with a king size bed and a Jacuzzi tub.
Memorable Views
All but two of our rooms have Ocean Views, and most are Ocean Front. Our definition of Ocean Front means we sit directly on the beach with nothing to obstruct your access to the sand.

Amenities
Relax on our Private Deck
Our swimming pool and therapy whirlpool are on a private enclosed deck. There are deck chairs and mats as well as tables and chairs for your use. We provide Beach Towels to those who may have forgotten them or to anyone who may need extra or just plain planned to use ours. Access to and from the city beach is through security lock gates.
Ocean View Meeting Room
Our meeting room is approximately 1000 square feet and we usually have our complimentary continental breakfast here. The meeting room has a panoramic ocean view.

We also use our meeting room for banquets, seminars, and mini conferences. We have all the audio visual aids necessary for your meetings and get togethers. Off site catering is available.
